Retreats allow for a more in-depth spiritual encounter with Christ. Students have the opportunity to participate in a retreat each of their 4 years at St. Teresa High School.
Freshman year:
During freshman year, students leave campus for a school day shortly after the school year begins. This is a mandatory retreat day that focuses on the spiritual goals and mission of St. Teresa High School, preparation for high school, and their upcoming challenges.
Sophomore year:
An optional, but strongly encouraged overnight retreat. This spiritual experience centers around a theme of “Three Circles of Love: Love of Self, Love of Neighbor, and Love of God.”
Junior year:
An optional overnight retreat that focuses on discipleship and coming to know Christ more closely in our lives.
Senior year:
We provide two “Kairos” retreats, one for males and one for females. The team that provides this retreat experience is 6 of our own seniors and 4 of our own faculty and/or community members. This retreat is optional but highly encouraged.
