Mark and Tappi McLeod were one of many awardees honored during the Decatur Legacy's "Do Something Great" awards ceremony hosted at the Decatur Club on Wednesday, August 8.
Decatur Legacy is a membership organization made up of charitable organizations and professional advisors -accountants, attorneys, wealth managers, financial advisors - who encourage supporters, donors, volunteers, and clients to include a gift to charity in their wills or estate plans and make philanthropic gifts that leave a legacy.
Mark and Tappi have been benevolent to St. Teresa High School and the Educational Foundation for many years," stated St. Teresa Educational Foundation Executive Director, Dr. Kenneth C. Hendriksen. "They were one of the top donors in our last capital campaign, Believe-Build-Become, and have most recently made another generous commitment to the Sustain the Future campaign, with a goal of adding $10 million to the foundation."
The McLeods are also very active members of the Decatur Community, serving on various organization's boards, as well as, volunteering their time and talents through Mac's Pigskin Diner, cooking and serving food at many non-profit fundraising events.
Mark and Tappi's dedication truly reflects the motto of St. Teresa, 'Serviam' or called to serve. Please help us in congratulating Mark and Tappi for receiving this award and for all they do in our community, and especially for St. Teresa.
