In the 3rd year of the Hickory Point Bank's Kick-off event for the WSOY Community Food drive, St. Teresa students were once again on site to construct can-do sculptures to assist in raising money for the food drive.
Along with the Bank's corn sculpture, students created a set of blocks adorned with the STT and HPB initials.
Overall the day was a success with the event well surpassing its' initial goal of $2,000 by receiving a total of over $11,000.
What a great way to kick off this year's food drive. Special thank you to those that contributed either cash or cans to this year's sculptures. We will be collecting through the official Community Food Drive set on October 5, 2018, as we hope to win the school challenge again this year!
