St. Teresa High School students participated in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Conference in Springfield, IL on April 6 & 7 with much success.
 
The following students qualified for Nationals located in Baltimore, Maryland this summer:

• Hannah Hollis - 2nd in Introduction to Public Speaking
• Sydney Allen - 3rd in Client Services
• Noelle DeJaynes & Robert Malkamaki in Broadcast Journalism

 
The following students finished in the alternate position for Nationals:

• Lauryn Pugh - 5th in Business Communications
• KT Voorhees - 5th in Community Service Project
• Robert Malkamaki & Lauryn Pugh in Local Annual Business Report

 
Other top twelve finishers included:

• Mary Shupenus - 10th in Impromptu Speaking
• Tyler Phillips – 12th in Accounting I
• Jackson Arnold 12th in Introduction to Business Procedures
• Shirley Syed & Taylor Prasun 12th in Publication Design
• Robert Malkamaki - 8th for Who's Who in FBLA
• St. Teresa Chapter - 8th for Outstanding Chapter
