The Central Illinois Conference presented the CIC Scholar-Athlete awards yesterday at a ceremony, including two St. Teresa High School seniors, Alex Hein and Ashley Burgener.

Two student-athletes from each CIC school are selected each year to be named as scholar-athletes based on academic performance, involvement and success in athletic activities.
