Mrs. Andrea (Riebock) Dorsey, a 2004 graduate of St. Teresa High School, has been named Head Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Teresa High School for the 2018-2019 school year. Andrea was the starting point guard on the 2003-2004 State Championship Team. She was also a member of the 2004-2005 Millikin University National Championship Team.
Mr. Larry Daly, Principal at St. Teresa stated “We are very happy Andrea accepted this position. Her wealth of experience at the college level as a player, coach, and recruiter is certainly a plus.”
Mrs. Dorsey served as Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Coach for the Millikin University Women’s Basketball Program since 2014. She was an Assistant Coach for the University of Illinois-Springfield Women’s Basketball Team from 2012-2014. She served as Graduate Assistant/Video Coordinator for the Texas Tech University Women’s Basketball Program from 2010-2012. She was Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana from 2008-2010.
Todd Vohland, St. Teresa High School Athletic Director said, “We are thrilled to have Andrea Dorsey back at St. Teresa. Her passion for coaching is evident, but more impressive is her sincere desire to help mold young people into positive leaders in all areas of life.”
Andrea plans to meet with the team within the next week to discuss summer programs.
